Ritzy Charters Founder Elected CYBA President

We are proud to announce that Ritzy Charters Founder and Sales Director, German Liubitch, has been elected President of the Charter Yacht Brokers Association for 2023 and 2024. CYBA is the preeminent industry organization for Caribbean yacht charter brokers, with over 140 members.

German opened the doors of Ritzy Charters in 2012 and joined CYBA shortly thereafter. He served as Treasurer in 2019 and 2020 and Vice President in 2021 and 2022. In addition he has served on numerous committees, including the Brokers Online Course which teaches best practice standards and requires detailed knowledge of all aspects of the yacht charter business.

One of German’s key CYBA contributions to date was in the 2020 development of a new standard Caribbean All Inclusive charter contract, now widely used throughout the industry. This was an enormous accomplishment, given the variety of viewpoints of key stakeholders which included yacht owners, managers, and brokers representing client perspectives.

German has taken up the challenge of CYBA leadership as president and looks forward to continuing to contribute to the industry in this new role.

German lives close to the water in Miami Shores, FL with his wife and two children. In his free time, you’ll find him kite-surfing on the Biscayne bay.
