For those not yet familiar with our latest developments, this past year has marked an exciting expansion for us: Ritzy Charters is now offering Central Agent (CA) Management services to yacht owners! This new service means we oversee the growth of your charter vessel while optimizing ownership costs, handling everything from administrative tasks to charter yacht marketing.

Leveraging over 30 years of combined experience in the yachting industry, we offer a streamlined process for yacht owners and an enhanced charter experience for clients, all while delivering bespoke, top-tier service.

To give you deeper insight into this new division, we spoke with Lucy Cooper, our CA Manager, to learn more about its impact and future direction.

What inspired Ritzy Charters to launch Central Agent Management?

We recognized a clear opportunity. There's a thriving market for highly committed yacht management services and a need for maintaining business ethics while offering a broker-friendly approach. We felt our expertise and personalized approach could offer something unique - our boutique service model. This is what sets us apart! No two yacht owners have identical needs, so we tailor our management services to meet their specific requirements, ensuring that each detail is handled with precision and professionalism. We offer unrivaled service and expert advice throughout the process.

Sailing catamaran Ascension is a remarkable highlight in the Ritzy Charters's fleet. This sleek Lagoon 620 catamaran accommodates up to 8 guests with 4 spacious double cabins and stunning indoor and outdoor areas. She also offers a wide range of water toys, such as a Highfield Sport tender, paddleboards, and kitesurfing gear.

Why was now the right time?

It was a natural progression for us. As our team has grown and strengthened, expanding our services to include yacht management felt like the right move, allowing us to cover another aspect of the business. From yacht sales and charter marketing to advisory destination compliance, booking services, and customized solutions—our passion for the sea has guided us every step of the way.

You mentioned yacht sales as part of the CA services. Can you elaborate on this?

Mondango is the latest addition to the Ritzy Charters's fleet. This Lagoon 46 2020 model offers unmatched comfort with 3 spacious double cabins, each with its own en-suite bathroom. She is the perfect charter option for friends, couples, and families with kids.

Can you explain the importance of charter yacht crew placement and how owners can use their vessels for personal purposes while under a charter program?

Absolutely! The crew is the heart of any successful charter experience, and we fully understand their pivotal role in the overall satisfaction of guests and owners. We ensure your charter yacht crew holds the high standards expected within the industry and is accurately placed on the right vessel. As for the owner’s use, you retain full access to your yacht. Even while it's under charter, you’re free to use the vessel for personal enjoyment at any time. We work closely with you to coordinate charter bookings around your schedule, ensuring that your yacht is always available when you want to enjoy it privately.

How do you coordinate the charter bookings? 

We make this process seamless through our dedicated Booking Desk. Our team manages all inquiries from yacht charter brokers, responding promptly and professionally to ensure smooth communication. Additionally, we oversee administrative tasks such as vetting contracts, sending charter documents to the crew on time, and handling charter funds through escrow. This ensures a worry-free experience for both you and your charter clients.

We specialize in digital marketing, constantly exploring innovative strategies to elevate your yacht’s visibility. We create engaging online brochures and yacht listings on exclusive charter platforms, manage social media profiles to promote your yacht and crew, and prioritize your vessel on the Ritzy Charters website for potential clients to discover. It's all about making your yacht stand out in a competitive market.

Tell us about your fleet—what are its defining characteristics, and are there plans for expansion?

We currently manage a fleet of hand-picked exceptional vessels, including state-of-the-art catamarans ranging from 46 to 62 feet, many of which are brand new. These yachts are impeccably maintained and fully equipped with water toys for an enhanced charter experience. We're also in discussions with several motor yacht owners, so I expect we'll see some larger additions to our fleet soon.
